the persistence of things;

April 23rd, 2008 · 8 comments

two weeks of blue eyes, seeking hands, crawling on top of him like a cat. i know you’ll miss your family, he says. my light girl fingers at the corners of his eyes. you are my family.

gardenia candles and thin white sheets, the thick rush of heady liquor. missing my cat. the warm weight of Him against me, and i love you i love you i love you like a mantra made of heat and word and breath. a solid conviction. a prayer answered; all eyes closed.
Mood: this (be)longing, towards each other.
Music: mazzy star; she’s my baby.
